Deniz Çelikel’s second book “Interpretation of the IPC in light of the decisions of the European Court of Justice (CJEU)” has been published.
Although the absolute and relative grounds for refusal of trademarks are subject to relative evaluations such as similarity and likelihood of confusion, and trademark registration processes vary from country to country, the general principles remain unchanged. CJEU decisions are important sources of determinations regarding these general principles.
This book includes case law examples of CJEU judgments that impact practice in Turkey, with the author’s own translations and interpretations drawn from her 15 years of experience as an expert witness.
